1、Application background

The system is used to measure the length of the opening and closing of the ship lock gate valve. According to the relevant data acquired, the gate valve opening is calculated by the ship lock PLC control system, the control system is adjusted based on the valve opening of the two sides, and the hydraulic system is adjusted accordingly. The voltage output of the proportional amplification console controls the opening speed of the gate valves on both sides, so that the operation of the gate valves on both sides is synchronized.

2、System principle

The system installs a set of laser ranging sensors on one end of the gate valves on both sides of the bank to acquire the travel distance of the gate valve. The device transmits the actual travel distance value to the PLC automatic control system. After programmable analysis, the terminal position of the gate valve and gate valve distance are obtained, ultimately the actual opening of vale is converted and acquired.
